Next Generation Sand Screw
The Aggredry Dewatering Washer, a combination wet screw and dewatering screen, can be used anywhere a fine material washer might be used. However, the added benefits pay back your investment in a very short time.
Generally speaking, traditional sand screws produce material with a moisture content of about 15-20%. That sloppy sand can be impossible to run up a stacker, takes weeks to dry and wears on other equipment. Meanwhile, the precious water is wasted as it usually evaporates before finding your pond.
While material moves through an Aggredry Washer’s screw section clays, dirts and fines are separated before the good sand moves to an attached dewatering screen.
The major disadvantage of dewatering screens has always been lost material, but that’s the superpower of this machine. Those lost fines collect in an underflume and are flushed back to the screw. This patented jet is constantly reclaiming and returning valuable material.
Sand discharges from the Aggredry Washer with a moisture content as low as 8% and is instantly available for sale or further processing.
- Single or twin screw options
- Capacities up to 800 STPH (725 MTPH)
- Maximum material size of ¾” (19mm)
Do the math. Traditional sand screws discharge material at 25% moisture, which requires 1-2 weeks to dry, extra real estate to stockpile and a plan for water runoff. They’re stealing from your bottom line. An Aggregdry Washer means no dry time required. You’ll reduce costly real estate need and transfer the finished sand directly to your asphalt plant.
