In 1972, Superior was established after regional sand and gravel producers requested our founder build their conveyors. They saw his radial stacking conveyors and wanted the same portable technology to improve their operations.
Superior’s brand was built in those early days designing and manufacturing portable conveyors. Our market grew from rural Minnesota to the world and we’ve built thousands and thousands of radial stackers ever since.

- Custom lengths of up to 200′ (60.0m)
- Capacities up to 1,200 STPH (1,100 MTPH)

Mounted close to the drive pulley, the snubs primary job is to increase wrap angle around the drive pulley, thereby increasing traction.
