The Solution

Knowing the producer needed a portable washing solution that could be engineered quickly and deliver high-quality products, McCourt Equipment partnered with Superior Industries to bring the project to life.

Working together from the earliest planning stages, the teams designed a portable processing plant tailored to Central Texas Stone's production goals and timeline. The system begins by feeding crusher-run material through twin Blade Mills, where clay and other deleterious materials are broken apart before moving to a Guardian® Horizontal Screen for final sizing. From there, the sand is processed through an Aggredry® Dewatering Washer, producing an instantly salable product.

Being able to have sand come off the the Aggredry® (Washing) system that has a low percentage of moisture, to take material right off the belt and load it into a truck has been huge for us.

The Results

Today, Central Texas Stone consistently delivers clean, specification-grade aggregate products while benefiting from the flexibility of a portable plant design.

The Aggredry® Dewatering Washer produces low-moisture concrete sand that can move directly from the conveyor into waiting trucks, reducing material handling and getting products to reach customers faster. Meanwhile, the portable configuration gives the operation the freedom to relocate or reconfigure the plant as future projects demand.
