Heritage Cooperative’s Success: Reducing Downtime with High-Performance Conveyor Upgrades
The Challenge
Heritage Cooperative's Kenton, Ohio-based Agronomy Center faced corrosion and material buildup issues within their conveyor systems, leading to belt mis-tracking, premature component failure, and costly maintenance downtime.
To continue operating at peak efficiency, they needed to minimize downtime and improve the wear life of critical conveyor components, especially in moisture-prone and corrosive areas.

The Solution
To address these challenges, Heritage Cooperative partnered with Superior to upgrade their material handling systems. The facility installed corrosion-resistant Moxie® Idler Rolls and stainless-steel frames, which reduced rust and material buildup.
Superior also provided Chevron® Wing Pulleys and custom-engineered drive assemblies for key systems, ensuring smooth belt operation, reduced vibration, and extended wear life. The combination of high-performance components tailored to their site helped prevent costly breakdowns.

The Results
With the implementation of Superior’s innovative conveyor components, Heritage Cooperative saw significant improvements in uptime and maintenance efficiency.
