Vibratory Independence™ High Frequency Screen

Because All Fines Should Pay Up

Designed for 3/8-inch minus material and tight cuts, Superior's Independence High Frequency Screen (HFS) uses rapid vibration to break surface tension and separate fine particles with exceptional accuracy. That means producers can recover valuable product from material that might otherwise become waste.

But fine screening demands control, and that’s exactly what this machine delivers. With independently adjustable motors operating from 3,000 to 6,000 RPM, users can fine-tune performance to match changing feed conditions, moisture levels, or spec requirements. A vibrating feedbox spreads material evenly across the deck, helping the screen work efficiently from the very first contact while reducing buildup and premature media wear.

The result is a portable plant that gives producers something they often lack in fine material processing...precision! Whether producing manufactured sand, sizing chips, or recovering fines, the Independence High Frequency Screen helps turn difficult material into consistent, saleable product.

Advantages

Independent Speed Control

Each deck section can run at its own frequency between 3,000 and 6,000 RPM, allowing operators to fine tune separation performance based on feed conditions, moisture, and product specs.

Vibrating Feed Box

A vibrating distribution box spreads feed material evenly across the deck, improving screen utilization, reducing buildup, and helping the screen perform efficiently from the very first contact.

External Vibratory Motors

Side mounted motors allow operators to safely adjust performance and inspect components without entering the screen body, improving safety and simplifying maintenance.

Uniform Media Tensioning

Wire media is tensioned from the feed and discharge ends, creating even tension across the full deck width which reduces uneven wear and helps maintain consistent separation performance.

Up Close with the HFS

In this walkaround tour, Superior’s vibratory product manager explains how the Independence High Frequency Screen is designed to separate very fine material like frac sand, lime, and other applications.

You’ll see the thinking behind several key features, including externally mounted motors, a uniform media tensioning system, and a vibrating feed distribution box that spreads material evenly across the deck. Cody also highlights the portable plant’s chassis design, from hydraulic lift cylinders and run-on legs for fast setup to patend pending always-level stairways that improve safety during service and inspection.
