Press Release Originally Published:

Morris, Minn. – Superior Industries, Inc., a US-based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, is proud to announce the grand opening of a new crushing manufacturing facility in Morris, Minnesota, its headquarters and hometown since the company was founded in 1972. A symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the occasion, highlighting Superior’s commitment to growth and innovation in the crushing market.

The new facility, dedicated to producing jaws and cones, will increase Minnesota’s crusher production capacity by an impressive 50%. This expansion enhances support for dealers and producers across North America’s aggregates and mining industries, delivering greater efficiency and product availability. Superior’s impact crushers, including VSIs and HSIs, will continue to be produced at the company’s other crusher facility in Belen, New Mexico. Additionally, Superior’s global network includes crusher manufacturing sites in South America and Asia, broadening its reach to serve international markets.

“This new facility means more opportunities for everyone connected to Superior — from our dealers and producers to our team members and local communities,” said Jason Adams, president of Superior Industries. “With more capacity and smoother operations, we’re able to stay true to our purpose of serving others by providing products that help our partners succeed!”

The facility features an integrated hydraulics assembly area, an inline test zone, and expanded parts warehousing to support the growing need for reliable, on-demand, critical components

Morris, Minn. – Superior Industries, Inc., a US-based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, is excited to announce the expansion of its partnership with McCourt Equipment. Effective immediately, the 25-year-old mega dealer will represent Superior’s full product line of washing, crushing, screening and conveying equipment and parts across the state of Florida.

This expansion enables McCourt Equipment, already a long-standing dealer for Superior in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, to extend its responsive sales, technical and emergency support, and reliable access to parts to aggregate producers throughout Florida.

“The McCourt Equipment team recognized the potential in Florida and began establishing their sales and support teams in the region several years ago,” said Jeff Gray, Director of Sales at Superior Industries. “In addition to local hires, several experienced team members from their Texas operations relocated to Florida, working diligently to introduce McCourt Equipment to the market and build strong relationships.”

“We’re excited to watch them grow!” Gray added.

McCourt Equipment’s local Florida branch is located in Lakeland.

Superior’s Expansion At Arizona Facility Is Now Online

Press Release Originally Published:

Morris, Minn. – Superior Industries, Inc., a US-based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, says crews at its Arizona manufacturing facility recently celebrated the first piece of finished equipment to exit the newly expanded operations.

The expanded facility now includes a third equipment production line, focusing on non-telescoping portable conveyors.

“This means we can reserve the existing lines of production to be more product specific,” says Jason Adams, Superior’s president. “Most notably, it’s really going to take stress off TeleStacker® Conveyor production in Arizona and allow us to produce more of these high-demand telescoping stackers.”

Along with the new line for non-telescoping portable conveyors, the Arizona facility also replicated a new idler manufacturing setup launched in Minnesota earlier this year. This investment in machinery, robotics, and automation significantly increases conveyor idler throughput company-wide.

“The headline says more manufacturing space out west, but this is going to have a positive effect on all of our operations and improve lead times across the board,” says Adams.

Cemco Acquisition Final, Superior Gains Significant Manufacturing Capacity

Press Release Originally Published:

Morris, Minn. – Superior Industries, Inc., a Minnesota-based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, announced today it finalized its intended acquisition of Belen, New Mexico-based, CEMCO, Inc. As part of the sale, Superior attained a 147,500-square-foot manufacturing facility in the heart of the American Southwest.

“This acquisition comes at a time when we’re responding to dealers and increasing manufacturing capacity,” says Jason Adams, president of Superior Industries. “The New Mexico facility will be the new home to all of Superior’s impact crushers, increase portable plant manufacturing by about 40%, and give us more room to strengthen stock of critical components.”

The Cemco™ VSI name and design aren’t going anywhere, says Superior, as the pioneering vertical shaft impactor is widely used and very popular in the production of cube-shaped aggregate. Going forward, the company will be rebranded as Superior Industries, but the Cemco VSI name will live on as a trademark for Superior’s VSI crushers.

“The facility is awesome, the VSI is a high-grade performer, but it’s those hard-working men and women of Belen, New Mexico, that we’re most blessed to have in our expanded company,” says Adams. “In fact, we want to double the amount of employees in Belen as soon as we can.”

Job openings will be posted soon to “workatsuperior.com” and those interested in employment can reach out any time to [email protected]
