Morris, MN – Superior Industries, Inc., a major U.S. manufacturer and global supplier of material handling systems and their related components, announces the hire of industry veteran John Garrison as a new business development manager. Mr. Garrison’s strong experience in bulk processing will be used to develop new opportunities for Superior’s portable plants product line, its design-build division and the company’s new wet processing division.
Mr. Garrison joins Superior after spending the last decade as a market area director at Terex in their Mineral Processing Systems (MPS) Division. In that role, he was responsible for directing sales, marketing, distribution and aftermarket service teams for the Cedarapids, Simplicity and Canica product lines. Before joining Terex in 2005, Garrison spent fives years as a territory manager at Motion Industries. He received a degree in business management from Baker College.
Garrison is an active member of the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association having participating in NSSGA Young Leaders and as a member of its Manufacturers and Services Division. In addition, he serves on the Association of Equipment Manufacturer’s (AEM) Aggregate Statistical Committee (ASC).
