Challenge
With each of their four TeleStacker conveyors piling a different product, Massachusetts-based Kimball Sand Company, Inc., is saving valuable time. Before the new equipment, they were forced to shutdown while old material was removed from under the previous system to make way for new material. Their loaders are put to new use now, from the costly work of bucketing material and building stockpiles to separate responsibilities, one loading out trucks and the other focused on other odds and ends.

Solution
The volatile price of diesel fuel seems to be always on the rise. Kimball Sand Company is burning less fuel and saving more money, not to mention maximizing their investment by putting their loaders to new uses. Since the loaders are busy elsewhere, their stockpiles are free of contaminates, more than 30% larger than before, and allowing the company to increase production.
