The primary function of the Warehouse Clerk is to manage the storage of our inventory products, along with shipping and receiving. This involves both purchased parts and manufactured subassemblies.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Inventory is maintained accurately
  • Parts are delivered to production line on-time
  • Staging is done accurately, according to Bill of Material
  • All tasks are completed within predefined parameters
  • Supervisor informed of progress on regular basis
  • Work area is clean and orderly
  • Equipment is operated safely

Primary Tasks

  • Read and understand the paperwork involved with each job
  • Use computer system for necessary input / output information
  • Process incoming freight
  • Prepare packages and paperwork for ship-outs
  • Use forklift to store and deliver parts to manufacturing lines

Qualifications

  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Read 1/8” , 1/16”, and 1/32” gradations on tape measure
  • Convert feet to inches and vice versa
  • Lifting requirement: 75 pounds
