The primary function of our Territory Manager is to increase sales and profitability in the 1700 territory.


Principal Accountabilities

  • Sales revenue growth in territory
  • Strong customer relations
  • Sales projections are met
  • Gross margins are upheld

Primary Tasks

  • Develop and implement a territory sales plan and sales goals
  • Establish local equipment dealers as required
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products
  • Practice honesty and integrity in customer/vendor/internal relations
  • Visit job sites as needed to discern and provide client services
  • Remain current on product and industry knowledge by attending sales meetings, trainings, etc
  • Manage customer relations assisting clients with special requests and problems (supply information, resolve complaints, etc.)
  • Continuous learning of new sales skills, product and industry knowledge
  • Ability to conduct product training to dealer, engineering firms, user accounts when appropriate
  • Organizing and making joint sales calls with dealer sales force/Superior team members as required
  • Prospecting for and converting new accounts on an ongoing basis
  • Continuously updating customers on product changes and modifications
  • Willingness to travel overnight and cover the geographic territory assigned
  • Attending Trade Shows and Conferences
  • Provide input to Superior Industries regarding: New product ideas, Modifications to existing products, Market changes, Customer service suggestions,
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Professional sales skills
  • Highly motivated
  • Comprehensive knowledge of entire standard product line and relevant applications
  • Thorough understanding of material handling solutions for aggregate applications
  • Computer skills: Familiar with using Microsoft Office and CRM
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Able to read engineering blueprints and drawings
  • Must live in territory
